Mike Tyson was a student of the late great Cus D’amto. A trainer that guided a lost angry boy at 12 years old and transformed him into the youngest heavyweight boxing champion of all time. The peek-a-boo style that Cus instilled on Tyson worked perfect for his lack of height but large frame. Mike was only 5’10 which meant his head-movement and footwork was key to his success.

#4 Francois Botha
Following a 2-year ban from the ear biting incident. Tyson was keen to show he still had more to give. Francois was game and was not afraid to trade. Even getting into a scuffle after the bell between rounds. This engaged Tyson and gave him the desire to go harder. It was a tough fight. Tyson was losing this fight until he unleashed a perfect, short right hand to the chin. That was all she wrote.
#3 Frank Bruno
This back-and-forth contest nearly ended in the very first round. Tyson sent Bruno crashing, but he quickly got back to his feet. Then out of nowhere Bruno staggered Tyson, almost finishing him. This was a rare sight, Tyson shrugged himself off and began to slowly chip away at the Brit. It was a close fight, but Tyson went into beast mode in the fifth round and hit Bruno with a brutal 4 punch combination and the referee ended the contest.
#2 Trevor Berbick
20 year old Iron Mike Tyson established his dominance in this fight not taking one step backwards. Tyson dominated Berbick. Right from the start Tyson was the aggressor, smashing Berbick with several powerful punches. Near the end of the first round, Tyson hit Berbick with a four-punch combination that sent his opponent reeling across the ring.
Berbick managed to stay on his feet, and survive the round. In the second Tyson picked up right where he left off hitting Berbick with a combination that dropped the champion. Berbick showed his courage and beat the referee’s count and the fight continued. He was showing bravery but nothing more. Tyson finally ended the fight hitting his man with a right to the body followed by a left hook to the head that dropped him for the second time. Berbick attempted to get up twice, only to collapse both times.

Tyson was on a revenge mission. He seen this man demolish is idol – Muhammad Ali. Holmes was one of the toughest men on the planet during his boxing career and had never been stopped. Tyson promised Ali when he was just a child he would beat this man.
Holmes was no match for the younger and hungry Tyson. However it seemed Holmes plan was to slow down the younger man tying him up whenever possible. In the fourth round Holmes moved quick and landed some good jabs on Tyson but this was short lived. Eventually it came, a left right combination sent the legend crashing to the canvas.
Holmes got back to his feet but Tyson came at him with another furious combination which sent him back to the ground. AGAIN holmes gets up but the end was near. Tyson hammered Holmes with brutal combinations sending the challenger to the ground a third and final time with Referee Joe Cortez calling an end to the contest.
