What is lb for lb?
Pound for pound is a ranking used in combat sports, such as boxing, wrestling, or mixed martial arts. As these fighters do not compete directly, judging the best fighter pound for pound is subjective, and ratings vary. They may be based on a range of criteria including “quality of opposition”. Other factors are; how exciting the fighter is or how famous they are. It is all an attempt to determine who would win if all those ranked were the same size. In my opinion Boxrec rankings are usually on the money 9 times out of 10 and are the most consistent also.

Many consider the Ring magazine belt the #1 of that division and they are almost always in the top 10 lb for lb fighters list.
